Timothy J. Mooney served as a judicial law clerk for the Assignment Judge of Atlantic and Cape May County in the Superior Court of New Jersey. A lifelong South Jersey resident, T.J. grew up in Cape May County and Atlantic County. He graduated from Villanova University in 2015 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Psychology. T.J. then attended and graduated from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. During law school, T.J. worked as a summer associate and legal intern at D’Amato Law Firm, a well-respected Atlantic County Law Firm. Throughout his time as a judicial law clerk, Judge Mendez filled the role of Probate Judge in Cape May County, and T.J. assisted the judge in litigated probate and estate matters. As the Assignment Judge, Judge Mendez also heard all appeals from the zoning and planning boards of Atlantic and Cape May County, and T.J. assisted in the research and drafting of opinions on such matters. Mr. Mooney is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association and the Cape May County Bar Association.
